Students at Dr. Frank Napier, Jr. School of Technology School 4 enjoyed a fun nutrition workshop on January 13 where they were able to taste a variety of fruits and vegetables such as carrots, tomato, bell pepper, cabbage (both green and purple), mango, pineapple, and kiwis.
According to FSCS nutritionist, Kelli Trelles, students were encouraged to try the foods even if they assumed they thought that they would not like them. “All students ended up trying a majority of the fruits and vegetables provided,” said Kelli, “and really enjoyed it!”
