3rd Graders at School 5 enjoyed a “Read Across America” event on March 6 from 1:30 to 3pm, with a visit from Councilman-At-Large Md Forid Uddin. With his friendly smile, the councilman read to students, bringing both laughter and imagination to the event.
The magic of the day would not have been possible without the heartfelt contribution of over 200 books generously donated by WellPoint (Amerigroup). Each student received 2 books at the end of the event.
“Thanks to WellPoint (Amerigroup) for giving us many books to enjoy! Their support not only filled the shelves but also filled the students' hearts with the joy of reading,” said FSCS Treatment Coordinator, Aysha Shammi.
